PDF/A archival formats explained

PDF/A is an ISO-defined family of archival PDF profiles. Renaming a PDF to .pdf or adding metadata does not make it PDF/A compliant. Correct embedded font behavior, color profiles, metadata and prohibited features must be checked.
MallowShare does not currently provide a PDF/A-2b conversion tool at this time. Use a dedicated, conforming converter and an independent PDF/A validator when archival compliance is required.
For legal archives, use an independent conforming PDF/A validator and confirm the required specific archival profile with your institution.
