AES-256 PDF password security and permitted unlocking

Encrypting a PDF protects it from casual opening without the password. MallowShare uses password-based AES-256 protection when the advanced engine is available. The password is never embedded in QR links or published in search results.
To unlock, supply the correct opening password for a PDF you own or have permission to access. The decrypted result is a new downloadable PDF. If an existing password is wrong, the tool refuses rather than attempting to bypass access control.
Password protection is different from cryptographic digital signatures, secure redaction, and document access governance. Do not email the document and password together.
