Phone-to-phone file transfer with a QR invite
Transfer photos and files between phones without creating a group chat for every attachment. MallowShare uses browser-based sharing rooms, including QR joining and individual file selection.
Open MallowShare on the sender
Use a public HTTPS address, create a room and add files. A your development address address only refers to the phone or computer opening it.
Let the receiver scan the QR
Share the temporary QR invite or link. The receiver opens the room in their browser and selects the files to receive.
Respect the limits of mobile browsers
Keep both phones awake while transferring. Network and battery settings can interrupt peer-to-peer transfers; large file downloads might require a desktop browser.
What to do if transfer fails
Check HTTPS, camera permissions, free storage and both devices’ connectivity. A restricted network might need a configured TURN relay. Try a small test file first.
