How to share files with MallowShare

Need to send photos, a large video, project files or documents to a group? MallowShare lets you share them in one temporary room instead of sending each person separate links.

Choose a room name, set a password or use Quick Share. Rooms stay open while the host remains connected; each file expires independently based on size.

Invite your people

Share a secure link or QR code. A valid QR invite lets participants join without retyping a password.

Send photos, PDFs, videos, code and notes. Each person can select specific files or download an optional ZIP.

One room for every file type

Use MallowShare to transfer files between your phone, computer and friends' devices. Its browser-based peer-to-peer engine attempts direct transfers when connections allow. If Wi-Fi or internet is unavailable, use the No Wi-Fi? Share Nearby panel to choose files or use Bluetooth / Nearby Share from the prepared-file share menu. MallowShare hands files to the system share sheet; it does not control Bluetooth directly, and availability and offline transfer behavior vary by device. Large room transfers depend on your devices and network, and the sender normally needs to remain online.

Frequently asked questions

Is it MallowShare or MelloShare?

The official spelling is MallowShare. People may type MelloShare or Mallow Share when searching; check the correct name and official website address before sharing a private invitation.

Is MallowShare free?

The sharing application can be used without signing up. Connection quality and file availability depend on network conditions and whether the sender stays online.

Can I share several files without creating a ZIP?

Yes. Recipients can choose individual files, use selected downloads or create a ZIP only if they want one.

Can people join with a QR code without entering a password?

Yes. A valid invitation QR contains a time-limited room access token, so scanning it can join directly. Keep QR invitations private.

Can I share a file by Bluetooth when Wi-Fi is unavailable?

Choose files under No Wi-Fi? Share Nearby, then select Bluetooth / Nearby Share in your device's system share menu. This can work without MallowShare Wi-Fi or internet when your operating system supports an offline sharing method. The browser and operating system control which options appear; direct Bluetooth is not available in every browser or on every device.

Can I send a 2 GB movie?

MallowShare supports files up to 100 MiB each, with 200 MiB across active files in a room. Large 2 GB or 3 GB transfers are intentionally disabled to protect reliability.

Do files remain online forever?

No. MallowShare uses temporary room access. Peer-to-peer downloads usually require an active source, and people who already downloaded files retain their copies.
